What they are

Not wood. On purpose.

Our cabinets are 3D printed in carbon-fiber PETG and filled with sand and resin. They are not wood or MDF. They are not painted or stained. They are what they are.

That is exactly why you get so many options. The shape, the resin band, the color and the front are parameters in the design file, not tooling. Printing lets us put the material where the sound needs it: braces, waveguides, curves. Then we let you choose how it looks.

Printed, filled, tuned.

Every cabinet is printed in keyed sections and filled with sand and resin. Heavy, dead-quiet, and shaped in ways wood can't be.

Not wood. On purpose.

No wood grain, no fake gloss, no stickers. The matte carbon-fiber surface is the finish. The resin band is the material showing through.

Active from the start.

Every driver has its own amplifier channel and DSP crossover, tuned to the cabinet it was printed with. A certified external power supply; no mains wiring inside.

Build yours.

Pick a model, then the color, band, front and finish, and see it before we print it. Every pair is made to order.

Why Davey Audio

Best bang for buck, period.

That's the one rule we design to. At every price point we pick the best-sounding drivers we can for the money, then design the cabinet around those drivers: its volume, its port, its baffle. Nothing is tooled, so no model has to borrow another one's cabinet.

And because it's printed, custom is the whole idea, not an afterthought. Your color, your band, your front, your finish, built to order for you and your room.

Sound and specifications stay targets until a finished pair is measured, and they're labeled that way.

The lineup

Pick your price point.

Six models, priced per pair, each the most speaker we can build for its price. Every one gets the full set of colors, bands, fronts and finishes.

How they're made

Print. Pour. Tune.

Double-walled sections come off the printer, the cavity is filled with sand and epoxy, and where the outer skin stops at a joint, the fill shows as a band. That band is the family mark. Then the drivers are measured and the DSP is tuned to the cabinet.
